So yeah, i was 'bulazy' (pay you copyrights next time, dawny) for the past 3weeks+. Mostly busy. I did do an entry like 2wks+ back but i drafted it and it was promptly forgotten... Argh to hell with it.. I will just publish this. It's old news, but wtf.. ^_^

the meal i have been waiting for the past 3yrs and 1mth. my generous best fren gimme a treat at a restaurant of my choice and i really can't think of anywhere but there. yeah. there.

sorry to disappoint but sashimi girl didn't choose to eat sashimi (when i can buy really fresh salmon from isetan scotts at a fraction of the price? i am no fool). instead, i chose to have yakiniku, jap for bbq meat.

i. cannot. resist. beef. especially expensive beef. forget those cheap types which wear out my denture while chewing. i have gnawed on rubber which is more tender. i love steak so much, i could go jack's place to lunch alone simply bcoz they are having $7.90+++ lunch deals (yeah, cheap type, but it's still not bad). i like my steak medium rare. savouring beef gives me almost the same palate pleasure as enjoying salmon sashimi. but u must understand that 'steakgirl' or 'beefgirl' sound real dumb. even kinda kinky. so there. sashimi girl it is.

almost immediately after placing our order, shan couldn't wait but whip out her 3-5yrs old (actual age i can't rem) canon 2megapixels *sneer* digicam to take pix. we assume our usual pix-taking pose, me cunningly adjusting to a well-practised angle that hide my budding double chin but alas! canon let us down by flashing us the low batt warning merely after 3 miserable pix. it's now up to my trusty hp to take over the task of pix taking for the night. Cheese!

i am in heaven! our orders have arrived. with my ume shuu (plum wine), shiso rice (jap rice with plum shavings) and my belly tender prime(beef. jap: kyuu niku), i cannot ask for more. we also have chicken(jap: tori. yakiyori=bbq chicken malay:ayam. teehee) and pork (jap:buta niku) and assorted veg (jap: yasai). let the bbq begin! This is our grill. We can't place too much meat on it at any 1 time bcoz they overcooked easily.

i like to flip my beef on the grill for like 5secs only b4 sending into my mouth. watch these suckers sizzle! (Carnivorous side of me emerging). LoL. once i was eating alone at the same place (what? cannot izzit?!!) and a passing waitress exclaimed, 'you eat it raw?!!!' wtf. it's not raw, fyi. jus medium rare ok? and i'm the customer. so buzz off!

shan agrees that this yakiniku stuff rocks. totally tender and melts in your mouth type. when i can afford it, i will definitely want to fly to japan to taste their kobe beef. heard that these lucky (or unlucky?) cows are purely bred for their meat hence they dun have to do a single thing except getting massaged and drink wine. man. 1 slab of kobe beef prolly set u back for a couple of hundreds. *drool.....* i guess i can never be a buddhist.

for now, this restaurant is good enuff for me ^_^ honestly, i suddenly feel full of admiration for models. how can they stay so stick-thin when delicious food is everywhere? then again, if i am paid thousands jus to look good and nothing else, it's prolly not that hard? hmmm... sorlee ah.. i always think about models when i overeat.. Hee...

So! after that we proceeded to Kbox! I assure you we weren't singing when we posed for this pix. I took it, fyi. Can't really tell hor. TeeHee. We didn't stay for long though. Shan gotta work the next day so we stayed like 1hour+ only. Suit me fine. I was finding all the songs getting boring and the standard of their drinks sux. I swear their long island tea looks and tastes like coke! though shan doesn't think so and claim that i have been drinking so much, i can no longer taste liquor. Nonsense!

Once again Queen of Pose insisted me taking a pix of her pretending to be singing into the mike. LoL :P

It was good fun. All these years we always go ktv with one another only but not feel bored. She will be singing all the latest sappy/ S.H.E./ female singers with gentle voice and innocent look songs when i grumpily stuck to male singers' songs. Bo bian la... who ask me naturally voice low pitch... sigh... But nvm, it's sexy and husky! rofl. I will always be entertained when i go ktv anyway... Kan Bei!!! ^_^"
