What they are showing on TV these days...
Had a rare chance of having nothing to do last Thursday hence went home after class to rot. And how would any rotter dare say to be rotting w/o a healthy dose of endless mindless TV watching? I hence proceed to channel surf, switching channels on an average of 3sec/ channel. I love zoning out in front of the TV especially in the morning. I need time to 'come back to life'. I simply cannot wake up early and am in a zombie-state during the 1st 30-45mins after waking up. I also need to watch TV before I sleep at night. It's a way I unwind myself after a long day. Anyway, back to last Thu. So I started watching at 7pm, channel 8, this 'Blue Catus' drama, and check out what I saw
on the right... I mean, honestly, take a gun and blow out my brains ba. That's Christopher Li, Supposedly 1 of the 'Ah Ge' of Mediacorps and rumoured bf to fann wong. I know they say good looking pple can walk around with a pile of shit on their head and still ooze charm but looking at that screenshot, can you honestly say that he looks good???!!! I used to find him pretty good looking but sadly, he is still not that bloody good looking enuff to be spotting a mop-like hair and still expecting himself to still be suave. Sorry Christopher, but the only male who is able to do that, mop or shit on head and women still go weak in the knees upon seeing him, is only Andy Lau. 
I really think Mediacorp is trying to be funny lo... They get their so called shuai ge mei nu to act in a drama and give them shitty hairstyles simply bcoz they are supposedly shuai ge mei nu so they think they can get away with crap hairstyles. In the 9pm CID drama, Ivy Lee on the left is spotting a maggi-mee, and in my opinion, whore-like do lo... Seriously! What's up with that?!!! My bf says Ivy is such a babe and many guys agree that she is even prettier after giving birth. I dun hate her or whatever but she looks so normal to me lo. I think Zoe Tay or Song Yi Fei Constance or Phyllis Quek are prettier lo. But fuck la.. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder isnt it.. The main point is... WHAT'S WITH THE FREAKING UGLY HAIRDO! Someone pls shoot me.
Continue with this CID show.. not the most exciting I ever show la. I have watched more exciting hk drama thrillers or cops dramas which really i dunno who the hell the murderer/rapist/mf is until the last min lo. Before i am accused of being a anti-singapore drama ungrateful, the-moon-is-rounder-overseas bitch, i must say that i used to like sg dramas lo. Growing up, my stable diet of daily TV gotta consist of drama-watching, then, SBC. I missed Zoe and Li Nanxing and Chew Chou meng these pple lo. I totally gotten watch these everyday or I will die. But now, in my 20s, i realise that Sg dramas have not improved with times lo... check out these screenshots of so-called ah lian ah beng in the 9pm CID drama

Ah lian ah beng must always go bad-pple places like pool place etc... typical ah lian must be in short mini skirts etc... Haiz.. Boring...
Next stop, channel U, 10pm, Armed Reaction IV. I actually only rent and watch hk drama bcoz i prefer listening them speak in cantonese instead of dubbed chinese. It's my way of picking up cantonese u see (it's really useful!). But 1 of my fave actors, auyong zhen hua is in this show and although I didnt watch 1-3 before, I made an exception this time. Actually, most hk dramas are nice lo. Again, i am not been critical towards our local shows but really lo.. hk or japan actors can really act better.. even the extras! I mean, have u seen sg dramas that has part 4 like this one? no right... bcoz storyline too weak.. cant continue so long lo... 
That's Cai Shao Fen and Auyong Zhen Hua on the right. They make such a good onscreen couple lo. Both so cute. She looks like my friend, Xiufang lo.. (Dawny Dearie, u really look like her la! Same surname even!) Auyong is no pretty boy, but nevertheless, i love watching the dramas he is in. He has his own sense of humor, and when he acts out sad scenes, he is really pro about it. My number 1 fave tvb actor, Gallen Lo, has moved on to china. So sad T_T
At the same time showing on channel 5 is 'Lost'. CMI lo. I kinda watched the serie 1 religiously bcoz the starting seem to be promising.. a batch of survivors on a plane crash on an island with mysterious dinosaur-like creature chasing them and all. Each episode has a different's character's flashback before the crash. But the episode finale was really crap. nothing was explained and i was left high and dry. Now that they are showing serie 2, i am determine to boycot this show. It sucks. No head no tail. Just leading us on with endless mysteries. To hell with it.
11pm to 12 midnight, Arts Central. Every wed to fri, they are showing jap animes. I am not particularly into anime but they are good for listening to the jap dialogues. I kinda practise this way. I prefer those funny ones. The characters can be really cute. I was watching 'Desert Punks' on and off on Arts Central but it ended. The main character, was this loser type of guy who go ga-ga over huge boobs girls who are exaggerately, well, well-endowed and skinny. Haha.
So you see, with these amount of entertainment I am surviving on local TVs, who really need Cable?
