Much Ado About Babies

Babies: WaHhhhh... This is such a great bloggy! We Love iT! *GaGaH Gurgle* ---> baby noises
Me: Why.. Thank you all Sweeties!
Babies: Say, are u trying to act cute by putting our pix in your bloggy???
Me: Not really. Cute as you guys are, there are pple out there who abandon their babies.
Babies (in unison): *Gasp!*
Yeah. Was reading the new paper today again (i can't help it ok... my commuting time is really long!) Not like its wrong to read tnp la anyway but i was supposed to be using my commuting time to do my hw. Anyway! it's not like i boliao and keep blogging about tnp cover story of the day ok.. i can't help it if i have some strong after-reading comments which needed to be voiced and where else is better to do it except on my own friggy blog??!! and honestly, the rest of my life is rather too mundane to blog about.

So i was reading about abandoned babies in sg. not surprisingly, these poor creatures are borne by mostly teenage girls. Unmarried, scared and w/o the means to raise a baby, many will resort to abandoning their own flesh and blood. the really sad cases are those young mothers who try to give birth on their own secretly and then maybe try to flush the newborn down toilet or even dumped like trash down the rubbish chute. (Some dun meant to actually kill their babies. It was accidental, like the article on the right which i read about how this woman's unborn baby slipped out when she was peeing. Tragical.)

On the other hand, there are childless couples out there who are eager to adopt these babies or resort to visiting fertility clinics in the bid to conceive. Irony, right? While schooling and financially-dependent on parents teenage girls just wanna have no-consequences premartial sex and ended up getting pregnant, established couples with a substantial combined household income are frustrated and despair over having no children, usually bcoz of inability to conceive or something.
I used to wonder about the irony of life b4. from the less-complicated issues like why buses/taxis only show up when u dun wish to take transport and vice versa. is god trying to be funny?? But someone (is that you, shan??) who told me that actually, there is a logical reason behind so-called coincidence situations.

Most pple are students or office workers isn't it? So it's obvious that rush hours are in the morn and evening. That's y u think that when u dun wanna take bus or cab, there are plenty but when u do, buses and mrt are bloody crowded (stinky too, sometimes), take SoOOOOoooOoOoo freaking long to come and the bloody cabs are nowhere in sight. And there is such thing known as 'unconscious memory'. Maybe u went to a party wearing almost the same outfit as a friend. Coincident? Spooky or just plain bad luck? It could be both of u have discussed about the party beforehand, talked about what to wear and some of the ideas exchanged might have stuck with u consciously or unconsciously in your brain. Then when u are off to shopping for the party outfit, what u rem (e.g: black dress sounds great) and what u dun rem (e.g. it was so-and-so who suggested the idea to me) and ended up wearing almost the same stuff.

So what i was saying is, it's no cruel twist of fate that young girls getting up pregnant when couples who tried so hard remain childless. We all know that the younger we are, the more prime and conceive-able we are. Plus in the heat of passion (+ lack of contraceptive knowledge), it is no wonder that younger women get pregnant more easily. Many couples who are trying hard for kids maybe putting off have 1 for ages until now. By then, the woman might have considerably aged or 'past her prime', and we all know that the older u get, the harder and more complication u get trying to get pregnant. The same can also be said for the husband if we assume both are around the same age.
In the same copy of tnp was an article on angelina jolie and brad pitt's baby:
Really lo.. 'tong ren bu tong ming' xia (we are all humans but the lucky ones get born with a

Anyway... dun wanna talk about babies no more! On a lighter note, saw this stunning, killer abs indian actress babe in tnp as well. Check her out! Sorry, i am not racist (ironically, she is, not me. Ha!) but i have never seen an indian woman with figure like this! So i guess it does helps when u are a movie star with personal trainer and dietician *shrug*. Ok, shall go train 6packs too starting from next mth! LoL! If i succeed, i will pass a big pix of my fruit of labour on the blog!
